MACAO, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) – Three exhibitions on automobiles, yachts and business jets opened in China’s Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) on Friday, showing the public a range of the latest domestic and foreign products .
The three-day auto show, the 11th of its kind in Macau, is themed to help the SAR build a zero carbon city. Covering an area of 65,000 square meters, the exhibition presents nearly 400 vehicles of major domestic and foreign brands from more than 20 countries and regions.
According to Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, co-organizer of the events, the Macau International Automobile Exhibition is the largest in the Hong Kong and Macao SARs and an exhibition showcasing the most Chinese automobile brands outside the mainland.
In parallel, a forum is organized on the development of new energies and intelligent transport, accompanied by a cruise, a miniature car race for children and a “green” market on low carbon living.
Over 40 yachts ranging from luxury to light fishing boats were on display. A forum was also held to discuss topics such as yacht travel in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay area and the intensification of the exploitation of island resources.
The business aircraft exhibition covers an area of 24,000 square meters at Macau International Airport. It is accompanied by a forum as well as events inviting the participation of young people and the interaction of visitors.
