MACAO, May 10 – Tickets for the closing concert of the 32n/a Macau Arts Festival Liza Wang and the Chinese Orchestra of Macau, organized by the Office of Cultural Affairs (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), sold out from the first day of ticket sales. Given the enthusiastic support from music enthusiasts in Macau and the Greater Bay Area, an additional performance will be offered at 8 p.m. on June 1. Tickets for the additional performance will go on sale simultaneously through Macau ticketing network outlets, by phone and online booking from 10:00 a.m. on May 14.
The maximum interior capacity for the additional performance of the concert Liza Wang and the Chinese Orchestra of Macau June 1 is limited to 75%. In accordance with the latest outbreak prevention guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, members of the public must present one of the following documents before entering the venue: proof of completion of the entire cycle of the COVID-19 primary series (which includes two doses of the inactivated vaccine or the mRNA vaccine) for 14 days (as indicated in the Macau Health Code with the “gold frame”) or a negative test result for nucleic acid delivered within 48 hours. Those who do not provide the above documents are not allowed to enter the venue. Tickets are non-refundable. All members of the public must undergo a body temperature check before entering the venue; those with fever or respiratory symptoms are not allowed to enter the hall.
Liza Wang, an artist highly regarded by the global Chinese community, will join the Chinese Orchestra of Macao to perform several classics, including Young’s Warrior, Love and passion, Yesterday’s sequins, Years in the limelightand The brave Chinese. Music lovers will be able to appreciate his talent and enjoy his remarkable performance during the grand finale of the Festival.
The additional performance of the closing concert Liza Wang and the Chinese Orchestra of Macau will take place at 8 p.m. on June 1 at the Venetian Theater. On May 14, ticket purchases for the additional performance are limited to a maximum of six tickets per performance, per person. Holders of a BOC credit card or a BOC card can benefit from a 30% discount on the purchase of tickets. A 20% discount on tickets for all shows is also available for holders of a MasterCard, Visa or UnionPay card from Luso International Banking Ltd., BNU, BCM Bank, Tai Fung Bank or OCBC Wing Hang Bank, and a 50% discount on tickets for all shows for holders of Macau Senior Citizen Card or Disability Assessment Registration Card. Each cardholder may only use one discounted ticket per performance.
